Catholic Education - "Where every child matters"

Finishing off #CathEdWeek with a bang! Today marks the end of Catholic Education Week for 2017!

To kick off this morning, Primary Social Justice students hosted a Healthy Brekky as part of Walk Safely to School Day. Then, our Year 4s and Secondary Social Justice Leaders attended Mass at Sacred Heart Church Hindmarsh, whilst the rest of our Findon campus (and other Western Catholic Schools) were 'kept in the dark' as a combined commitment to caring for God's creation. Flinders Park campus powered-off on Wednesday as today they celebrated Patron's Day with liturgies, fun activities and 'battle of the patrons!'

Even the littlest members of our Community got involved celebrating our Catholic culture this week. The ECC children have been reflecting on how every human being matters, and collected cans of food for families in need in our community. We are extremely grateful for the generous donations, from our families. The children were excited to have plenty of cans to shape into a huge love heart together.

"For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat" (Mathew 25:35).
