The Sacrament of Baptism

Baptism is the first of the Sacraments of Initiation into the Catholic Church. Baptism is primarily about beginning, believing and belonging. Within the Nazareth Catholic Community/ Findon Parish we offer preparation and support for families wishing to baptise their child whether they be infants or school age.

A preparation session will be arranged to set the Presentation and Baptism dates and discuss the ceremony. Baptisms are celebrated in the Our Lady of the Manger Church, Findon on the 2nd and 4th Sunday of the month, either at the 11:00am Mass or at 12:15pm.

Families are asked to contact the Hindmarsh-Findon Parish on 08 8346 3901 or via email:

Sacraments of Reconciliation, Confirmation and Eucharist

At Nazareth Catholic Community we strive to support the families in our community and the parishes to which they are connected in the Western Deanery.

For that reason, we disseminate information through our newsletter and website concerning details for sacramental programs from these different parishes. It is our hope that families will make the choice to prepare for and celebrate the sacraments in the parish where the family attends Mass, or with which they feel connected.
