We look forward to welcoming those students and families who will commence Year 7 with us in 2024.
Our transition program affords families familiarity with our facilities, programs, routines of schools, key teachers, fellow students, and other families.
At the recent family information session for Year 7 Transition for 2024, a range of
information was shared with families – this included subject information, timetables,
communication, house and pastoral care structures.
To further support families, we have included below some frequently asked questions,
including the questions that were asked before the evening and links to relevant
information. We encourage all families to become familiar with this information, as well
as the information available on our website. We look forward to continuing to share and
support your transition journey.
We aim for families to be engaged and connected to the life of our community.
As part of our communication strategy with families transitioning to secondary schooling in 2024, we have created a closed Facebook group called “Nazareth Transition to Secondary in 2024”.
We hope you will find this group an easy way to connect with us and, equally as important, with each other and receive useful information tailored to your needs.
In partnership with you, the page will provide an avenue for discussion, conversation and information-sharing about the transition to secondary schooling.
Upon submitting your request to join this group, you will be asked two questions to verify your connection with us – the name of the student/s you are connected with and your relationship with that student. Members are cross-referenced with the enrolment database to ensure only families with students transitioning are a part of this group.
We also encourage you to follow the Nazareth Catholic Community Facebook page, which shares news, celebrations, events and information across our entire College and community.
