We are pleased to inform our families that there will be no increase in school fees for the 2024 school year.
Catholic Education SA has announced it will freeze tuition fees at its 84 Diocesan schools for the 2024 school year.
“We recognise that cost-of-living increases are putting significant pressure on families,” says Dr Neil McGoran, Executive Director of Catholic Education SA.
“Growth in enrolments across the State in our 101 Catholic Schools, together with prudent financial management, puts us in a position where we can hold tuition fees at this year’s level.”
Dr McGoran said the fee-freeze will not impact the quality of education.
“We’re committed to keeping school fees as low as possible and ensuring a Catholic education is affordable and accessible to all.”
Since 2019, Catholic Education SA has been implementing the Making Catholic Education More Affordable Initiative to ensure Catholic schools are accessible to any family who wants their child to have a Catholic education.
In addition to the fee-freeze, further fee remissions are available to any family struggling to pay school fees due to financial difficulties. Families should contact the Finance Team for more information.

Nazareth is a leader in South Australian Catholic Education, providing a breadth of opportunities, exceptional staff, and state-of-the-art facilities.
Our fees are set to ensure we are as affordable as possible for all families. We believe our fees are modestly priced against comparable schools, providing families with excellent value. In fact, we were recently named in The Advertiser as one of South Australia’s most affordable schools.
As much as possible, Nazareth fees are structured as a single fee to ensure extra expenses are minimal, with no additional surcharges or levies. Our fees include all core subject tuition and excursions, student devices, IT services and support, health and wellbeing programs and most co-curricular activities.
Additional charges relate to items such as uniforms, musical instrument hire, stationery and book list items (Years 7-12), co-curricular school sport (Years 7-12), intra/interstate and overseas travel opportunities, above quota photocopying and printing, and subsequent accidental damage or non-return of a school loaned device. Full details are outlined in our College Fee Structure and Financial Information.
We offer a variety of payment options to suit your family. Discounts are provided for fee accounts that are paid in advance and for families with multiple siblings attending Nazareth Catholic College or another Catholic Parish Primary School.
Nazareth can offer support to families during times of financial stress. Just make an appointment to discuss this with our Finance team. Depending on your family’s income, you may also be eligible for support through school card, a South Australian Government program.
