Nazareth offers students a number of SACE subjects where they can focus their pathway on their industry of choice, including Small Business Skills, Hospitality Skills, and Tools of the Trade.
Students can also select subjects to complement their work experience or VET course, such as Workplace Practices and Beyond School.
More information about these and other subject options is provided in the Senior Years Curriculum Handbook.
Nazareth educators design teaching and learning programs to support diverse student pathways and educational and wellbeing needs; however, in certain circumstances, students may seek or require further flexible approaches to their learning.
In these circumstances and upon negotiation, students may be invited to participate in a Flexible Program focussed on key literacy, numeracy, work and life skills in small-group settings with educators as key mentors. Timetable flexibilities may also be considered with the ultimate goal of supporting skill development and SACE completion, as well as confident learners with a mindset for lifelong learning and successful transition beyond Nazareth.

There are increasing opportunities for students to express their thoughts about their future pathways through exposure to university enrichment and tertiary pathways. Nazareth students have previously attended the Flinders University Enrichment Day, the Adelaide Tertiary Studies and Career Expo, and visit TAFE SA, amongst others.
Nazareth annually hosts a Career Expo in Term 3 where all students in Years 9-12 attend as part of their Subject and Pathways selection processes.
Each year, Nazareth collaborates with representatives of Flinders University, UniSA, and the University of Adelaide to ensure that all Year 12 students have access to 1:1 course counselling, should they wish to explore pathways and courses at these universities.
