🎶Primary Instrumental Concerts Term 2 (Week 7)

🎼Stage 2 Performance Evening– June 11 (Thursday Wk 7)

• Date: Thursday, 11 June 2026 (Week 7, Term 2)
• Time:
  • 4:30pm – Dinner (Stage 2 students)
  • 3:00pm (soloists) – Soundchecks begin
  • Vocal Jazz 1: Arrive by 5:50pm for a 6:00pm soundcheck rehearsal
  • College Choir: Arrive by 6.20pm for a 6:30pm soundcheck rehearsal
  • All others: Arrive by 6:30pm
  • 7:00–8:30pm – Performance
• Location: Kidman Park Performing Arts Space
• Attire: Music Performance uniform (more info in letter)

🎤CSMF Support Act Auditions- June 11 (Thursday Wk 7)

• CSMF Support Act auditions will take place on Thursday 11 June at the Kidman Park Performing Arts Space.
• Ensembles involved:
  • Vocal Jazz 1, Stage Band 1, Jazz Combo, Senior Saxophone Ensemble
• Key details:
  • Students will travel by bus between campuses as scheduled
  • Performances will be recorded and submitted for CSMF selection
  • Full Music Performance Uniform (including blazer and music tie) required

      • 12.00pm – 🚌Bus takes Stage Band 1 students from Flinders Park to Kidman Park
      • 12.15pm – Stage Band 1
      • 12.45pm – Jazz Combo
      • 1:30pm- 🚌Bus takes SB1 students back to FP
      • 1.15pm – Senior Sax Ensemble
      • 1:45pm – 🚌Bus takes VJ1 students from FP to KP
      • 2:00pm – VJ1

🎸Battle of the Bands– Wednesday Week 8

• Our Year 5–7 Rock Band students will take the stage for the Battle of the Rock Bands on Wednesday 17 June at 6:00pm in the St Sebastian Centre (Flinders Park Campus).
• The evening will also feature pre-show performances from Year 8–10 Rock Bands starting from 5:00pm.

🥁Percussion Opportunity for Students – June 23–24

• Percussion students are invited to take part in the AdYOxAU Percussion Day, returning to the University of Adelaide on June 23. Now in its fourth year, this popular event offers a full day of workshops, lectures and performances, designed to support and celebrate the percussion community.
• The day is ideal for late primary and high school percussionists who are currently taking lessons and have at least one year of playing experience.
• Students can also attend a free percussion concert on the evening of June 24, with all participants encouraged to come along.

Instrumental Hire Forms

Instrumental tuition lessons are open to all students and can be arranged through our music office. Lessons are mostly conducted during school hours on a rotating basis.  The forms and documents below detail many aspects of the music program, including instrumental tuition program fees and enrolment.
