Rehearsals are on Thursdays during the JP lunch time from 12.30 – 1.10.

Catholic Schools Music Festival Choir

Rehearsals are on Tuesday mornings 8:00-8:45am. Please ensure you arrive at 7.55 for an 8am start.

Please note that the performance date for CSMF is Monday 21st of September (Week 10), which is very close to the Cabaret performance!

📆Term 3 2026 music calendar

  • The Term 3 Music Calendar is linked HERE. Please take some time to read through and take note of important dates.

🚗 Student Driver Reminder

  • A reminder for all student drivers attending rehearsals at Kidman Park:
  • Student drivers may park on site until 8:30am, however vehicles must be moved after rehearsal concludes. Many staff members travel between campuses throughout the day and require access to these parking spaces. Your cooperation in keeping these parks available is appreciated.
  • We also remind student drivers that they must not transport other students in their vehicle unless prior permission has been provided and communicated to the school by parents/caregivers. This applies particularly to travel to and from cross-campus rehearsals and events.

🎵Stage 2 Performance Evening

  • Our Final Stage 2 Performance Evening is coming up on Thursday 3rd of September (Week 7). This will involve all Stage 2 Music Students and Vocal Jazz 1 and 2.

🎼Cabaret

  • Planning is well underway for our annual Nazareth Cabaret, and we are excited to announce that this year’s show, Back to Twenty Sixteen, will be held on Thursday 17 September and Friday 18 September in the St Sebastian Centre, Flinders Park Campus.
  • Please read the UPDATED information letter for this year’s Cabaret, including an updated combined rehearsal schedule. Combined rehearsals begin THIS WEEK!

  • 🎓Nazareth Old Scholars
    • Please share this around as much as you can with Nazareth Old Scholars🎵
    • We’re inviting former students who were involved in the Nazareth Music Department between 2016 and 2025 to return and join a special Old Scholars Choir performance.
    • Together, we’ll perform “When We Were Young” by Adele, a fitting choice as the song was released in 2016.
    • Whether you sang in choir, performed in ensembles, musicals, concerts, liturgies, or other music activities during your time at Nazareth, we’d love to welcome you back to be part of this special moment. It will be an opportunity to reconnect with old friends, celebrate shared memories, and be part of a wonderful evening of music.
    • If you’d like to be involved, please fill out this Nazareth Old Scholars Cabaret Item Expression of Interest Form. You will need a working with children check to be involved, but we will assist you in getting one if you don’t already have one.

Instrumental Hire Forms

Instrumental tuition lessons are open to all students and can be arranged through our music office. Lessons are mostly conducted during school hours on a rotating basis.  The forms and documents below detail many aspects of the music program, including instrumental tuition program fees and enrolment.
