Made up of 10 letters and numbers, it is free and stays with you for life, so keep it somewhere safe

ATO School Leaver Program

From school to take-off! Launch your career with the ATO and make a real difference while working. With such a wide variety of roles and career paths across the ATO, you’ll have the chance to explore different areas and shape your future in a way that works for you.

To be eligible for the program, you must have completed Year 12 in 2025 or will complete Year 12 in 2026, be an Australian citizen & clear an ATO check

Here at Nazareth Catholic College, we strongly encourage students in Year 10, 11, and 12 to undertake work experience, because as well as assisting in exploring your career pathways, it can also be beneficial in gaining employment.

Flight One High School Aeroskills Come & Try Day | Monday 14 September

Are you in Year 10 or 11 and interested in aircraft engineering? Flight One’s Aircraft Engineering “Come & Try” Day is your chance to experience the exciting world of aircraft engineering up close! Join us at Adelaide Airport for a hands-on day filled with learning and fun.

All students wishing to enrol in Flight One School of Engineering’s funded Certificate II in Aeroskills delivered at our Adelaide Airport workshop in 2027, are required to have undertaken immersive activities in an aviation / aircraft maintenance or similar background.

These events are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding of the course, delivery location, outcomes and the nature of the training / work environment to ensure that students are well informed before enrolling.

Adelaide Zoo & Monarto Safari Park – Career Awareness Day

Adelaide University VFX Information Session | Tuesday 8 September

Attendees will learn about our VFX programs offered in partnership with Rising Sun Pictures, explore the purpose-built, simulated studios where they’ll get to study and hear from staff and current students about their experiences in the VFX industry.

Nazareth students who have completed certain VET qualifications and combinations of subjects as part of their SACE are eligible for a guaranteed entry pathway to specified degrees at Flinders University.

TAFE SA Dual Offer courses – Pathway to University

SACE Results Date & ATAR – Week beginning Monday 14 December

Students will be able to access their SACE results on the week beginning Monday 14 December by logging in to their SACE Students Online account.

Students eligible for an ATAR will also be able to see their Tertiary Entrance Statement (TES) containing their university entry information.

University Course Offers – commence Thursday 14 January 2027

From Thursday 14 January 2027 SATAC will start emailing Year 12 students who have submitted applications for courses in 2027.

There are several rounds of offers. Students who do not receive an offer in the first round may receive offers in subsequent rounds. For queries regarding specific course offers, students should contact the University/TAFE directly.

At Nazareth, during Term 3, Year 12 students participate in a range of activities at school to build their understanding of SATAC processes and future pathways, including lodging a SATAC application. The early application deadline is 30 September, but it is possible to submit an application right up till 1 December – see the SATAC Key Dates | SATAC page.  Note that some degrees have earlier closing dates, particularly for Medical and Dentistry.

Students can speak with their Mentor Group Teacher, Year 12 Year Level Coordinator, or a Careers Counsellor for help at any stage of the process.

On 12 August, from 6-7pm, SATAC is hosting a Q & A session where staff will provide an overview of the application process and answer questions. Registration for this event is free and can be completed here.
