At Nazareth, during Term 3, Year 12 students participate in a range of activities at school to build their understanding of SATAC processes and future pathways, including lodging a SATAC application.
The early application deadline is 30 September, but it is possible to submit an application right up till 1 December – see the SATAC Key Dates. (Note that some degrees have earlier closing dates, particularly for Medical and Dentistry.)
Students can speak with their Mentor Group Teacher, Year 12 Year Level Coordinator, or a Careers Counsellor for help at any stage of the process.

Queensford College, a registered training organisation of Cert III ECEC, are holding their Immersion Day on
Monday 14 September 9:30am to 12:30pm

The day will give students a real taste of life at Queensford College before they commit to enrolling.

UniTEST is an aptitude test that provides students a FREE opportunity to enhance their chances of being accepted to Flinders University courses. UniTEST is a multiple-choice exam that assesses generic reasoning and thinking skills – the sorts of skills that underpin student success at university. Flinders University course offers for 2027 can be made based on UniTEST results and are NOT dependent on an ATAR. More information about Flinders UniTest can be obtained here.

Are you interested in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronic Engineering, Civil Engineering and Cybersecurity? Maybe a Flinders University degree apprenticeship is something to consider.
Degree apprenticeships allow students to complete a globally recognised university degree while earning a salary and gaining practical experience with an industry partner throughout their studies.
Spend 2-3 days a week at university and the remaining days in active employment, putting your learning into practice from day one. This hands-on pathway combines classroom learning with real-world experience in the defence industry, advanced manufacturing or infrastructure sectors.
Students experience education every day, and their perspectives should help shape the decisions that impact their learning. The SACE Young Ambassadors program provides a meaningful way for students to contribute their ideas, experiences and insights to the work of the SACE Board. Expression of Interest are open now. Students have the opportunity to enrol in Cert II in Food Processing. The course is being held at Underdale High next year and is tailored as an introduction to Cafe, sales & Barista work. It would be ideal for students wishing to pursue a career in the food or hospitality industry.

Located at the Minda site at North Brighton, this 1-day event is designed to give students a hands-on taster of what is involved in working in the horticulture industry.

VET- to-Flinders Guaranteed Pathway
Nazareth students who have completed certain VET qualifications and combinations of subjects as part of their SACE are eligible for a guaranteed entry pathway to specified degrees at Flinders University.
View the Nazareth-to-Flinders Pathway Schedule to see the VET and SACE combinations, and the eligible degrees.
Students will need to submit a SATAC application with the eligible degree listed as their first preference and also register the Nazareth-to-Flinders pathway through the Nazareth Pathways Counselling team.
