We are committed to the social justice principles of the Church, and, as stated in our Mission, are inspired by Jesus of Nazareth and our Patrons... each committed to building community, nourishing family life and making the world a better place.
Nazareth Outreach Projects (NOW) are an extension of our values and are supported by the entire community. We have an extensive array of projects we currently support. Our projects extend beyond Australia, with projects internationally, nationally as well as a local level.
Stay connected to our work through our Nazareth Outreach Work Facebook Page.
St Vincent de Paul Society aspires to be recognized as a caring Catholic charity offering "a hand up” to people in need. They dedicate their work to tackling poverty and disadvantage by providing direct practical assistance to anyone in need; addressing social and material needs in all its many forms.
At Nazareth we support their work through many ways including our winter appeals with donations of clothing and cans of food, as well as hampers for the needy each Christmas.
Adelaide Day Centre in Moore Street, Adelaide, offers several services to the homeless in our city. One of their ventures which we support is the mobile soup kitchen which operates 7 days per week from the first Mon in May to early October, 6.30pm at Hurtle Sq and 7.15pm at Whitmore Sq. In terms 2 and 3 both campuses on a weekly basis, through the generosity of donations through our families, make soup for the soup kitchen.
