Nazareth Catholic Community is committed to the education and wellbeing of all members of the community, in all dimensions of life. Each person is created in the image and likeness of God and therefore has an inherent dignity and grace.
We work together to create an enriched and inclusive learning environment where there is a balance between material resources and social justice, the creation of sacred spaces and spiritual dimensions of life and a healthy active network of inter-personal relationships.
Family Support Workers are available for families within our community experiencing significant challenges impacting on family wellbeing.
Practical Support for families with refugee experience and newly arrived in Australia is offered by our Pastoral Coordinator and Support Officer.
Our Community Services Officers offer regular playgroups that recognise the competent capable child and build upon the inherent gifts our youngest members of the community have to offer. Similarly offering social interaction for our community members over 50 years we have the "Wise Owls" who are an open group made up of parishioners, grandparents and other senior community members.
The Cultural Liaison Officer focuses on the engagement of students and their families from migrant and refugee backgrounds to enhance the learning and wellbeing of students, staff and families.
The Graduate Liaison Officer creates programs and opportunities for Nazareth graduates to remain connected to the College and wider Nazareth community.
Community cafes are run by our Café Coordinators and supported by our volunteers are located at both Findon and Flinders Park and are vibrant hubs that provide a place of connection.
Our Student Counsellors support students and families across both campuses.
In the Secondary setting, families can be connected to the Learning Pathways team through our Assistant Principal of Student Development, Assistant Principal of Student Learning, House Coordinators and Mentor Group Teachers.
We invite involvement from all members of our community and recognise this helps to strengthen and sustain our culture of wellbeing and collaboration.
