Nazareth Catholic College is expanding! A new purpose-built campus will open at Kidman Park in 2028.

Located on a 4.2-hectare site at 27 Valetta Road, Kidman Park, the new campus is the latest development of Nazareth’s Senior School and will serve as the primary learning environment for Year 10 students as they embark on their (South Australian Certificate of Education) SACE journey.

With this latest expansion, senior students in Years 10 – 12 will continue to benefit from unrivalled curriculum options, including VET Pathways with strong industry connections. These opportunities will be available across Nazareth’s three senior sites; Valetta Road (Kidman Park), Kidman Park Campus (Kidman Park) and the St Gabriel Centre (Underdale).

Opening with an initial capacity for 400 students, the campus will feature flexible, interconnected classrooms, breakout zones, and specialist shared areas that support cross-disciplinary and innovative teaching.

This expansion strengthens Nazareth’s ability to accommodate ongoing enrolment growth and meet the evolving needs of its community.

Construction of the new campus is expected to commence in mid-2026, and is scheduled to open for teaching and learning in 2028.

“As a gateway between middle and senior schooling, this dedicated environment provides a modern and supportive environment for Year 10 students commencing their SACE and VET journey.”

– Brian Schumacher, Principal

Key features of the new campus include:
  • The Sanctuary, located at the centre of the campus, offers a calm, green space for social gatherings and informal learning, with a strong focus on student wellbeing and community connection.
  • Sensitive landscaping that connects students to Kaurna country and story as part of our ongoing commitment to reconciliation.
  • Expansive shared learning and study spaces with micro libraries and meeting rooms catering for students embarking upon senior studies.
  • Contemporary classrooms and specialist facilities, along with outstanding staff facilities to support their work as professional educators.

“Our experience with Year 10 students at the St Gabriel Centre in 2025 has been extraordinarily successful, giving us great confidence in the benefits that future generations of Nazareth students will enjoy at our newest campus.”

– Brian Schumacher, Principal
