🎻Instrumental Tuition Reminders

• All instrumental lessons across R-12 will return in week 2. If you are starting a new instrument this year, your instrumental tutor will be in touch before the first lesson.
• Instrumental timetables are now live on the website (click the ‘View Instrumental Timetables’ button on the left hand side of this page). Please note that paper timetables will not be displayed at Kidman Park this year, it is now the student’s responsibility to check them online, so we suggest bookmarking this tab!
• A reminder that anyone undertaking classroom music from years 8-12 must be receiving instrumental tuition.

🗝️Fobs

• Every Instrumental student requires a Fob to access the music storage space. You can collect this Fob from IT next week.

🥁Co-Curricular Ensembles

• All Co-Curricular Ensembles will begin rehearsing in week 2. Your ensemble director will be in touch via email over the next week regarding information for your first rehearsal.
• Co-curricular Bus Timetable for movement between campuses for rehearsals can be found HERE

✏️ Clipboard

• In 2026, the Music Department will begin using Clipboard as our new co-curricular management platform. Families will receive login details shortly, even if their child is not currently involved in a music ensemble. Music groups will begin using clipboard over the next few weeks. More information and user guides will be shared soon via the college website.

🎶Music Camp 2026

• Please find the music camp letter attached HERE. This was sent directly to families of students who have nominated for the ensembles listed in the letter. If you did not receive the letter via email and you wish to be in one of the listed ensembles, please email Miss Mensforth ASAP [email protected]
• Full payment is due TODAY– Friday 30th of January
• Music camp meetings Thursday this week!

🎷Generations in Jazz

• Please find the Generations in Jazz letter attached HERE. Please particularly take note of two key events prior to this trip:

1. Holiday rehearsals – on Thursday 23rd of April (specific rehearsal times to come)
2. Gen Connection will not be at the Gov this year. We are awaiting to confirm a date for this event to occur at school so we can showcase the hard work of our ensembles before they head off to the GIJ competition. Please stay tuned for a date!

• Reminder also that the deposit for GIJ is due on Friday 13^th of February

Instrumental Hire Forms

Instrumental tuition lessons are open to all students and can be arranged through our music office. Lessons are mostly conducted during school hours on a rotating basis.  The forms and documents below detail many aspects of the music program, including instrumental tuition program fees and enrolment.
