Opportunity for Year 12 students to enhance their chances of studying at Flinders University
UniTEST is an aptitude test that provides students a FREE opportunity to enhance their chances of being accepted to Flinders University courses. UniTEST is a multiple-choice exam that assesses generic reasoning and thinking skills – the sorts of skills that underpin student success at university. Flinders University course offers for 2026 can be made based on UniTEST results, and are NOT dependent on an ATAR. More information about Flinders UniTest can be obtained here.
Year 12 students at Nazareth are able to sit the Flinders UniTEST on:
Thursday 9 October (Week 2 of upcoming school holidays)

9.15am for a 9.30am start

Are you planning on studying at TAFE or university next year. You may be eligible for this opportunity.
The Gallipoli Scholarship is open to the direct descendants of any serviceman or woman who has served in the Australian or New Zealand Defence Force in a conflict or peacekeeping operation, from the First World War through to the present day. Selection is based 60% on necessitous circumstances and 40% on academic merit. Scholarship applications open 1 January 2026 (during the school holidays). Eligible students only should apply.

Thinking about university or TAFE in 2025?
SATAC has produced a series of helpful videos for Year 12 students, explaining everything you need to know about applying to TAFE SA or university. You can view them here. The SATAC Guide is also a great resource to explore your options.
At Nazareth, throughout Term 3, Year 12 students will take part in a range of activities at school to build their understanding of SATAC processes and future pathways. In Week 2, students will undertake focused sessions on how to apply for university through SATAC. Applications open soon, and it’s recommended students apply before 30 September to avoid late fees.
Students can speak with their Mentor Group Teacher, Year 12 Year Level Coordinator, or a Careers Counsellor for help at any stage of the process.
Remember to include the Pathways & Partnership team when organising your work experience. Students cannot commence work experience without a Nazareth Workplace Learning Agreement in place!

VET- to-Flinders Guaranteed Pathway
Nazareth students who have completed certain VET qualifications and combinations of subjects as part of their SACE are eligible for a guaranteed entry pathway to specified degrees at Flinders University.
View the Nazareth-to-Flinders Pathway Schedule to see the VET and SACE combinations, and the eligible degrees.
Students will need to submit a SATAC application with the eligible degree listed as their first preference and also register the Nazareth-to-Flinders pathway through the Nazareth Pathways Counselling team.
