Last week, special guests of Nazareth Catholic Community gathered to celebrate the Official Opening and Blessing of our new Kidman Park Campus.
It was an honour to have The Most Reverend Patrick O’Regan, Archbishop of Adelaide, lead the ceremony alongside Father Lancy D’Silva, Parish Priest Sacred Heart Parish Hindmarsh-Findon.
We joined in celebration with representatives of Russell and Yelland Architects and Kennett Builders, alongside esteemed leaders: Mickey O’Brien, Senior Kaurna Man, Mr John Neate, Chairperson of the South Australian Commission for Catholic Schools, Dr Neil McGoran, Executive Director of Catholic Education South Australia, The Honourable Blair Boyer MP, Minister for Education, Training and Skills, Ms Angela Evans, Mayor, City of Charles Sturt, The Honourable Joe Szakacs MP, Member for Cheltenham, Members of the Nazareth Advisory Board and Members of the Nazareth Leadership Team.
Through liturgy, we reflected on the immense opportunities this new Campus will provide as a space for building community and connecting faith, family, and education.
Dedicated to the development and well-being of our present and future community, we hope this facility will serve as a place where students, families and staff can grow in faith, hope, love and learning.
Thank you to all who attended this special event, to join us in officially blessing and opening the Kidman Park Campus.
We can also thank and congratulate those who have contributed to this facility and this latest phase of Nazareth Catholic Community. Your unwavering support and dedication have been instrumental in making this project successful.
We look forward to many years of success in this facility and your continued support of Nazareth.
