Mr Brian Schumacher Appointed as Principal at Nazareth, Bringing Extensive Leadership Experience and Devotion to Catholic Education

Last week we were pleased to share that Brian Schumacher has been appointed to the position of Principal at Nazareth Catholic College, commencing in Term 1 2024. Today, Mr Baker had the pleasure of meeting Mr Schumacher during his visit to the Kidman Park Campus, offering Mr Schumacher a warm welcome as he looks forward to commencing the role next year.

Brian is an experienced and devoted Catholic leader. Currently the Manager of School, Quality and Performance Strategy, Culture and Innovation at Catholic Education South Australia, Brian has also previously held leadership roles as Director of Schools (SA, WA & NT) at Edmund Rice Education Australia, as well as Principal at Rostrevor College, Cabra Dominican College, and Sacred Heart College (Middle School).

With a wealth of leadership experience and a strong commitment to the Catholic faith, Brian brings a demonstrated commitment and enthusiasm for ensuring excellence in teaching and learning to this leadership role at Nazareth.

Brian is very much looking forward to meeting and working with staff, students, parents and the parish community. We are confident that his high level of personal and professional qualities, skills and knowledge will enable him to successfully lead our community.
