🚗 Student Driver Expectations for Music Rehearsals and Events

• To support student safety and assist with the planning of transport arrangements, students are not permitted to drive another student between campuses for Music rehearsals, performances, sound checks, or events unless the transported student’s parent/caregiver has provided written consent via email to [email protected].
• This procedure is important for two reasons:
  • It ensures we can maintain appropriate duty of care and accurate records of student transport arrangements.
  • It assists the Music Department with the complex planning and allocation of shuttle bus services between campuses.
  • Students who wish to travel with another student driver must ensure parental consent has been received by the Music Department in advance. Where consent has not been provided, students will be expected to utilise the approved transport arrangements organised by the College.
• Thank you for your support in helping us maintain a safe and well-organised environment for all students involved in Music activities

🎹2027 Specialist Ensemble Auditions

• It is our pleasure to provide information regarding auditions for the 2027 specialist ensembles (Vocal Jazz and Stage Bands). 
• Auditions provide a wonderful opportunity for students to showcase their skills and ensure they are placed in an ensemble where they can thrive.
• This year auditions will take place at the following times;
  • Monday 26^th October – Vocal Jazz (mixed choir) 1/2/3 – at the FLINDERS PARK CAMPUS
  • Tuesday 27^th October – Vocal Jazz (afternoon) and Stage Band (morning) audition times – at the KIDMAN PARK CAMPUS
  • Wednesday 28^th November– Stage Band 1/2/3 – at the FLINDERS PARK CAMPUS

🎤CSMF Combined Boys Choir Rehearsal

• This week, Tuesday 8th Sept at Christian Brothers College (CBC)
• We will depart Flinders Park at 12:20, and Kidman Park at 12:25.
• Please ensure you are in formal uniform, and have a drink bottle and choir book.
• Please eat lunch before we leave.

🎼Cabaret

• Planning is well underway for our annual Nazareth Cabaret, and we are excited to announce that this year’s show, Back to Twenty Sixteen, will be held on Thursday 17 September and Friday 18 September in the St Sebastian Centre, Flinders Park Campus.
• Please read the First Cabaret information letter for the combined rehearsal schedule.
• Please read the Second Cabaret information letter for details regarding the week of cabaret shows, including soundcheck and show schedules.

Instrumental Hire Forms

Instrumental tuition lessons are open to all students and can be arranged through our music office. Lessons are mostly conducted during school hours on a rotating basis.  The forms and documents below detail many aspects of the music program, including instrumental tuition program fees and enrolment.
