Dear Students

By meeting the expectations outlined above, we can ensure that all students receive the support they need, allowing our staff to focus on your well-being, personal goals, and academic success.

REGISTRATION

Year 11 Skills Day Registration (closed)
Open: 6:00pm Friday 12 June
Close: 6:00pm Friday 19 June

Nazareth aims to provide students with a range of possible pathway experiences during their time at the College. This year we are offering students the opportunity to choose an Industry Spotlight Session or Micro-credential Module, as listed below.

Students not at Skills Day activities will continue to work through Pathways booklets at school with their teachers.

DETAILS

  • Activities provided should be considered by students in relation to their individualised pathway, rather than based on peer choices.

  • By selecting an activity, students are confirming their commitment to attend.

  • Transport to and from venues off campus will be provided.
  • Permission via Consent to Go will be sent out after registrations have closed.

Year 11-12 | Senior Student Parking

Kidman Park Campus – Parking

Students who have been approved to park on site will be required to clearly display their parking disc while their vehicle is parked at school. The parking disc will serve as confirmation that the student has submitted the required driver’s forms and have agreed upon term/conditions set by the College. Please know that these will be distributed to students during Wk. 9 and 10.

This adjustment will assist staff in efficiently identifying authorised student vehicles and ensure that all student drivers have completed the necessary documentation to allow us to keep all student drivers safe on our campus.

We are so fortunate to be able to provide parking options for our Senior students, so once again, thank you to the many students who ensure they are fulfilling their responsibilities.

Standing Information & Reminders

The information below is important standing information for our senior students and families. This information will remain available on this page throughout the year and is essential in supporting a smooth and successful experience in the senior years. We encourage you to familiarise yourself with the details provided here.

11 – 12 | Driving & Passenger Forms

Year 11 and Year 12 students requesting to drive and/or carry passengers to and from Nazareth must complete the Student Driver Application Form online.

We ask that students and parents/caregivers complete this form together. Once submitted, parents/caregivers will receive an email with a copy of this completed form for approval.

Permission to drive and carry other passengers is only for the journey to and from school or between campuses during the school day. Students are not permitted to drive, either themselves or other students, to school-related activities during the day that are not held on one of our campuses.

Any student driving another student to and from school or between campuses must have the written permission to do so from the parents of that student. The Passenger Permission and Indemnity Form can also be found online.

It is compulsory that the student’s driver’s licence, along with the necessary approval to drive and or carry passengers, is received by a Year Level Coordinator before approval to drive to and from school or between campuses is granted.

If you require help or more information, please email [email protected]

10, 11 & 12 | Uniform

Please ensure you are familiar with the Personal Presentation and Uniform Requirements, including hair, jewellery and personal presentation expectations. PE Uniform can be worn to and from school only on days when students have PE/Dance on their timetable.

Uniform | Nazareth Catholic Community

10, 11 & 12 | Administrative Procedures

For details on College hours, supervision, absences, breaks, ID cards, lockers, lost property, electronic devices and more, please visit the Administrative Procedures section of the Family Information Hub.

10, 11 & 12 | Kidman Park Campus & St Gabriel Centre

Kidman Park Campus
The Kidman Park Campus is open for students from 8am – 5pm, with supervision / formal duty of care commencing at 8:25am and ceasing at 3:45pm unless students are in passive academic support in the Hub or at a cocurricular training/activity. Please note the Campus will close to students at 4pm on Fridays.

Drop off and pick
Please be reminded that drop off and pick up at the front of Kidman Park are not permitted to maintain the safety of all students. We have a number of students enter the building via the carpark, so we kindly request that parents and caregivers utilise the designated drive-through driveway ensuring a safe environment for everyone.

St Gabriel Centre
The St Gabriel Centre Campus is open for students from 8:20am – 4pm, with supervision / formal duty of care commencing at 8:40am and ceasing at 3:45pm.

The office closes at 4pm Monday – Friday. Please see below the phone number for the St Gabriel Centre for families wishing to make contact regarding their Year 10 student.

Year 12 | Flex Requirements

Flex time is offered to Year 12 students and occurs both off-site and on-site with supervision. Flex time will be reflected at either the beginning or the end of the day.

Timetabled flex allows for ongoing flexibility for student incursions, excursions, tests, individual study, and minimises the disruption to other subjects. If students are required for a particular subject incursion/excursion or event, they will be notified at least two weeks in advance and will be required to be in attendance onsite.

A Consent2Go permission provided to families must be completed by a Parent/Caregiver for students to be offsite for timetabled flex. Students will not be able to be offsite for flex until this has been completed.

Please refer to this letter regarding Flex – C2G Permissions Letter to Families – Year 12 Flex Letter

If you require help or more information, please email [email protected]

Year 12 | College Expectations

Throughout the year, all Year 12 students have been reminded that they are the role models of the College; therefore, their conduct should be of an exemplary standard throughout this celebratory period. This extends to the wearing of the College Uniform and the Personal Presentation Policy.

Students must wear the summer school uniform when attending the Year 12 Farewell Liturgy & Awards Assembly, Graduation Mass, and Stage 2 Examinations. Students who choose not to comply may be excluded from participating in these events.

If students are involved in behaviour which is considered inappropriate, serious consequences will follow. At all times, it is imperative that discretion, safety and good judgment are used throughout celebrations. We appeal to parents and students to work cooperatively with teachers to meet the expectations.

Year 12 | Register for our Graduates Database

As you approach the end of your studies, we encourage all Year 12 students to register for our Nazareth Graduates Database. By sharing your contact details, you’ll stay connected with news, upcoming events, volunteer opportunities, employment pathways, and other updates from time to time.

When registering, please use a personal email address (e.g. Gmail, Outlook) rather than your Nazareth email, as your school account will be deactivated after graduation.
