The Nazareth Catholic Community came together for our Staff Reflection Day last Friday, 8 September. This was a retreat-style day where all participants were given the opportunity to listen, reflect and share a day together as a whole staff. This year’s Reflection Day featured input from two inspiring presenters, Mr David Wark, CEO of St Vincent de Paul, and Dr Gill Hicks, a survivor of the London terrorist bombings in 2005. Fr Chris Murphy MSC also offered various beautiful reflections throughout the day, which complimented the various points the presenters had made. He also led us in the celebration of mass, which was a wonderful way to finish our day together.
Our presenters were inspirational and used the theme of our College for 2017 – ‘VOICE OF HOPE’, challenging us to appreciate the blessings in our own lives, while inviting us to reflect upon the difference we can make in the lives of others, particularly through living lives of hope and love. The feedback from many staff has been very positive, highlighting the importance of being able to come together for these opportunities of reflection, renewal and celebration as we journey through a busy year together. A big THANK YOU to all who made this day possible.
