Investigating and Exploring

YEAR 5 INCURSION

This term, the year 5 students are exploring Light Shows as a part of their science subject. As part of their learning, SciWorld visited our primary campus and the students participated in hands-on activities. It was a very impressive ‘physics’ session, demonstrating how light works. Activities included looking through mirrors, changing colours, telescope fun, water refraction and laser lights. We have some budding scientists in our midst!

YEAR 1 EXCURSION

The year 1 students have been investigating an ‘Under the Sea’ theme. To enrich their learning, they visited the Marine Discovery Centre at Henley Beach. This centre encourages an appreciation and understanding of marine life with a view to promoting conservation and sustainable use. The children were engaged in a variety of hands-on learning activities, including a trek along a beach discovery trail. Every picture tells a story of wonder!
